McDonald’s has launched a new special in the USA. It’s called the McDonaldland Meal. It became available on August 12, 2025. This meal brings back the famous McDonaldland characters many fans remember.
The meal is available for a short time. You can choose a Quarter Pounder with Cheese or a 10-piece Chicken McNuggets. It also comes with World Famous Fries and a Mt. McDonaldland Shake.
The shake is berry-flavored. It’s bright blue with pink whipped cream. The design is inspired by the Mt. McDonaldland volcano. The blue color is like lava, and the pink cream looks like clouds.
Every meal includes one of six special collectible tins. You will also have some postcards, stickers etc. inside it. These have classic characters including Ronald McDonald, Grimace, Hamburglar, Birdie the Early Bird, Mayor McCheese and Fry Kids.
It is the first time in more than two decades that McDonaldland characters are returning. And it is designed to play to the base and the base of customers.
McDonald’s has also teamed up with PacSun to sell colorful sweat sets and graphic T-shirts. They are also partnering with Away for luggage tags and bag charms featuring the characters.
This nostalgic idea is part of McDonald’s plan to connect with customers and boost sales. It comes after tough times with high prices and changes in spending habits.
