“We gave fans a taste of the rivalry with McDonald’s,” said Marian Lee. She is Netflix’s chief marketing officer. “It feels like it’s from the film.”

Each meal also includes collectible photocards featuring members of HUNTR/X or the Saja Boys. A special Derpy the Tiger access card with a QR code unlocks exclusive content through the McDonald’s app. A “special reveal” tied to the “Battle for the Fans” is part of the promotion.
